How to make bot in forum?

I want to make a bot that greet every member that just registered in PM

Like:

Welcome to FORUM
Welcome to this forum please make sure that blablablablabla...

Admin Panel > General > Messages and e-mails > Private Messages > Enable Welcome Msg > Fill The Rest

If you want a bot to send the msg you will need to register with the bots name

First you need to make an account or use an existing one that won't be used for natural posting.

Then you can name it something like "Forum Bot" or anything really, you can then add it to a group or something to give it a colour. To make it send a PM to everyone go to ACP --> General --> Messages and Emails --> Private Message --> Welcome PM --> Enable --> Change the name to the account that will be the bot.

All a bot is, is just a regular member. For example Forumotion Support uses a "a bot" but all it is, is a regular member with a coloured username.

So a bots just regular member, nothing special.
