Two Questions, News Widget, and Forms

1) When I post news on my forum, when the post is too long to all be displayed (as it usually is), and I use the picture resizer, and I'm left with a short string of code that appears... can I get rid of it?


2) I've been trying to add a "sign up" form. After users register, they would click to fill out this form with some personal info (E-mail, timezone, etc.). I've seen many solutions that ultimately e-mail me the info but I would like that information to be automatically posted in the forum. Any way that I can do this?
