Should founders to allowed to purchase parked domains for their primary domain?

I feel that founders should be able to purchase extra domains, and park them.  A parked domain is a domain that redirects to another domain when accessed

For example, my board is a ".org" domain, because I feel that represents my board the best.  It can be common for users to type in that domain with a ".com" instead.  If I had a parked domain, that ".com" domain would redirect to my ".org" domain.
