Limit Guest Activity??

I've been on a few sites where as a guest, you are only allowed to participate and click on only a few links and then you are prompted to register to access the site further. Is there anyway we can do this?? Is it possible for PHbb or is this a Vbulletin function??

You can edit the forum permissions for guests, so they can only see the forum, but not the posts or threads for example. (You can do that in "Forum / Permissions" and by clicking then on the forum you want to edit).

Guests will also be promted to login/register when trying to view a profile.

A general code snippet that would only allow some clicks, is not possible for on forumotion - at least i don't know how that could be possible.

there is this code thats a popup but it only tells people to register or login for full acces
