Galery question! Empty Galery question!

I was wondering when I host an image, and then insert it in some post, news or something, is that part of my gallery?I mean Gallery storage is 10Mb is that picture which I hosted part of my gallery? scratch

It is only part of that 10 MB in your gallery if you upload it directly to the gallery. If you host it somewhere else and put it in a post it doesn't affect that at all, because the actual image is being hosted somewhere else.
