i was wondering i got a backup of a phpbb3 forum on my pc anyway to transfer to forumotion hosting ?

Sorry but no. You need to start a new forum on Forumotion and you can;t import your database. You could manually transfer all the posts and ask your members to join on your new forum though it might take some time.
