question about domain name
hello,
i recently made a free forum and i want to make it on a .com domain so my question is , if i pay for the 1 year domain name all ads will be removed ?
or i have to pay for the domain name and extra pay for the ads ?
every forum theme that i install has it's own ads or no ?
Also, where i can see the benefits of a paid domain?
EDIT: if i move my forum to a .com domain i am gonna lose everything in there and start from the beginning?
thanks in advance!

Re: question about domain name
Hi,
1) If you buy a years domain name, you'll have to pay for the ad removal. You can see what you can spend credits on by going to ACP --> Misc --> spend credits
2) All themes will have ads and these ads are hosted by Forumotion in order to pay for the up-keeping on the service.
3) The benefits at a glance are: More chance for a better SEO (search engine) ranking of your forum.
More professional looking
Those are two main benefits.
4) If you buy a domain name, you won't lose anything. You'll keep all the stuff you had before.
You can read these guides for more information

Re: question about domain name
Hi,
This isn't possible, at least to my knowledge.
However this https://help.forumotion.com/t131789-add-a-form-on-creation-of-a-new-topic would allow it so you could create a forum for these support issues and when a user clicks on a thread they'll have to fill out a form.
