Another Domain name Question

Howdy,

Okay so I bought a domain name "bt-2.org".
Want to use that domain name for my forum..."http://bt-2.forumotion.com"

I went to a tutorial here to find out how to change "cname". this is what I put in...

Went to forum and tried to update domain, and I get this error...

The supplied domain name is not well configured
You have no CNAME redirecting to : bt-2.forumotion.com

So I asked my host ...reply came back...

I suggest you simply set up redirect. i dont' know how to do it with CNAME.
