Cannot make a forum

Hello, 
So i have a problem I'm quickly getting frustrated at. I cannot create a forum. 
I don't recall being on here for over 5 or more years and last time i recall it was easy, and a great set up to make a forum. 
I go to the main page to create a forum, I click 'validate' and i get the message "sorry, it looks like (my email) belongs to existing account" So i go and try to log in with various user/pass i remember trying to log in. They fail. Then I try to do a password recover, but I don't know my user name, and it keeps telling me they don't match to the ones i do try. 
I continue to try, then finally set up a new user pass on this place, but it still will not let me make a forum. What am i doing wrong? 
All I want to do is make a dam forum, why is this hard to do?

If your email address is in use on another forum then you cannot create a forum with that email address. If you'd like if you give me the email address you used to create a forum, I could find out your username and get you a new password and then you could delete your forum and create a new one.

If you want to do this then you can send me via private message: (You'll need two posts to do this)
