Banning Question

Hiya

I had a member come in to the chat room we have on our site and cause problems, whilst i banned her from chat, it doesnt let me see the ip to ban her from the site and although i have a pretty good idea who it is, i dont wnt to just ban her in case.

Do you know if theres another way i cancheck for sure. On the chat room when a person is banned number and what looks like part email address or perhaps server name is shown.

I don;t think you can. I guess the only way would be either to look at a post from that member in order to find out the IP address or if you are online at the same time with that member you can check his IP address from admin panel=>General=>configuration=>Security

Just find a post she made and then click on the "view i.p"button.
