Google Calendar in Forum
Hey,
Was wondering if as an alternative, I could use the google calendar in the forum instead of the forum calendar, is it possible?
Am thinking of using an alternative as it is very difficult for us to currently use the calendar for recurring events. For example, we may have an event that happens for 3 Saturdays, and we need to create 3 separate topics for it to register on the calendar.
My previous problem was posted here on posting recurring events. May someone could help?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Google Calendar in Forum
indeed yes you can, using additional link.
1. Make sure that your google calendar is open to see in public.
2. Disable your forum calendar:
Admin Panel >> Calendar >> Activate the topic calendar? - No
3. Create a New Navigation Link. Make sure you have an image for it.
4. Then, go to:
Admin Panel >> General Admin >> Headers
5. Scroll down and you will see "ADD A LINK".
Define the calendar image.
Define the calendar link: (example: http://www.google.com/calendar/)
6. Save it.
7. View your forum and try the link.

Re: Google Calendar in Forum
Cool ...
Got it worked out ...
Thanks.
However, it would be cool if we could do recursive events on the current editboard calendar as well so that when we post topics, we don't need to login to google calendar to update the calendar separately.

Hello.
Once the big vote will finish in the suggestion section, you can post a suggestion about it.
