In progress Do I have to buy a toolbar ?

Post by azwiz January 22nd 2015, 12:06 pm

Realizing that I didn't actually have a toolbar . I went to try and make one , then I looked back in my notes and found this .Do I have to buy a toolbar ? Toolba10
then I saw this . the code did not do anything . Does this mean I have to buy a toolbar for my free forum ? I guess I don't really need one .Do I have to buy a toolbar ? Toolba11
This is where it would be correct ?Do I have to buy a toolbar ? Toolba12
The search box is all I see . Can I add more to it ? Please excuse my ignorance but what about this whole posting  ( just an exerpt makes it a tutorial ? Below ?Do I have to buy a toolbar ? Toolba13
If I already have a code for a particular toolbar do I have to find it and remove it before putting another one in ?

Is this the right way to post ? Edit ? Edit , edit , edit . Your quote thing doesn't work . Every time I do something else I get a warning .

It is and has been activated all along .

  I cannot m
odify anything there .Do I have to buy a toolbar ? Modify10

Or hereDo I have to buy a toolbar ? Modify11

So now you give me another warning for editing an existing message . That doesn't sound right .
Once you ban me . How effective is that in my support . I can tell you that I will reduce my errors but you do what you gotta do

Hi @azwiz,

The toolbar can be used for free on any forumotion forum. The copyrights are to disabled the "Forumotion" branding you see on the toolbar as well as the footer copyrights.

@azwiz to activate your toolbar you need to go to admin panel -> Modules -> Toolbar -> configuration
and activate it. It is at all forumotion forums by default.

@azwiz you can make a reply after our posts if you like. Otherwise, we may miss information you add to your first post. Wink

In answer to this question :

Yes, I'd recommend removing the last toolbar code you added before adding a new one. It wont cause too much harm if you don't, but you'd probably end up with a franken-toolbar.

Spoiler:
Wait a minute . First of all . When I applied the toolbar code yesterday . It did not show up  until this morning . I have it now . ( highlight in red , you mean the little red line ? ) What is that ad from challonge ? I do not ever see things like that in any browser ? ( that I use because some don't give me some abilities in AP ) Makes me wonder what my forum really looks like ?

What's going oin here ? The post block that I am editing has a screenshot of the top of my forum . when I send it , allthat stuff goes away  ?

Not only does that screenshot disappear . What I see here is not what my forum looks like . " What is that ad from challonge ? I do not ever see things like that in any browser ?"

Ads are different depending on your country etc.

Your forum look always same.

And you can have 1 toolbar at forum.

In progress Here are a series of screenshots of my homepage

Post by azwiz January 22nd 2015, 7:39 pm

The reason for this is some of your " mods " responses with screenshots showed different views ( formats ) then what I see . There are features in AP that I cannot do or use or see in certain browsers . Could be the same problem in normal view of my forum .Do you see the top toolbar ? That is what was originally in question . Also in the top view you will see two different bars with scrolling multicolored messages . Also toolbars ? If yes then I have 3 .The top one is new . Do I have to buy a toolbar ? Top_ha13
