How can I add more options in the profile

I want to add more information to the profiles.
like having an option to fill in favorite games which will be viewable in the forums and when you go to the profile.
is this possible?

I have the ability to change my templates as well. don't know if it matters

Go to admin panel=>General=>Configuration=>Profiles and click the "Create a personalized profile" button at the bottom of the page.Then add all the required info.

is it possible to add html codes into that as well?

Yes, if you choose "Enriched text" from step 1.
