I've noticed in some forums that instead of ctagories being header they are actually links to the forums in that category. Example:

Hobbies [Catagory]
-Stamps
-Books }[Forums]
-Games

Would have

Hobbies --->[When Clicked On]--->[New Page with forums].

Hope this makes sense and how would it be achieved.

Thanks.

Hello,

Um... can you be a little more specific please? because i can't understand.

do you mean that when you click on hobbies, it brings you up to a new page, or internet window?

Well either really. In my case most probably a new page but it's the concept of being able have only catagories on the forum homepage and in order to view forums you must click the appropriate catagory.

A similar thing happens in these forums when you click the 'Design for forums - Self service' (except imagine the forum in the link is a catagory)

I really hope this makes sense.

Hello.

Here's a tutorial which will help you : https://help.forumotion.com/viewtopic.forum?t=682

You first make your categories and attach your forums at the categories. After, you change the index packing and you display the sub-level links (indicated in the post before the last one)
