Code for photobucket video?

Hello,

I want to show a video from photobucket on my forum but it doensn't work.

A video from you tube with the tags [youtube][/youtube] is working fine. Is there a similar tag for videos from photobucket?

I also tried everything i could find on this forum, for example this: https://help.forumotion.com/script-code-problems-f43/photobucket-video-player-code-problems-t13312.htm?highlight=photobucket

What exactly is not working, if I may ask? And also, how does the code look you get from Photobucket and where do you want to put it (post, portal etc...)? a normal <embed> tag should work just fine without any bbCode wraps...

also, be sure you have html enabled in your admin panel (Users & Groups / User Settings) and in your profile (Preferences).

Html is enabled. Videos of you tube are working fine.

Everything I try with photobucket is not working. I've tried different things. I only get part of the code in my post and an empty image.

Try to deactivate the preview mode (the small ^A/A button at the top right corner of your post editor box. Then enter the code again.

Well, I tested your code now and it does work! Just to be on the safe side, you are sure you have deactivated the preview mode (when you make a word bold for example, the [b] tags appear around that word only)? I'm just asking again because you get only half the code... and that's usually the sign for problems with the preview mode...

The only thing I can imagine, is that you should update your browser and your flash player to the latest versions...

But what do you mean with "half the code"? Do you mean the code from photobucket? It's the code I copied from photobucket itself.

Oh and I'm not the only one on my forum with this problem. Nobody can do this. A video with you tube works fine but photobucket is not working.

It's just strange that it works on my board (the code you posted above)... you shouldn't have problems if html is activated in your profile and the admin panel and if you have turned off the preview mode...

hm... do you have a link to your board where someone posted the code or where I'm able to do a guest-post maybe?
