could a feature like this be added to my forum? and would it have to be on a front page,could it be used in each part of forum instead?also how could i do it?

Yes this can be done, easily if I might add

What you need to do is create a personalised link in the navigatin bar
The pathroute is:
Admin Panel => General => Nav Links => Add a Customised Menu

You fill in the link, image and if you want the page to open in a new window or not
Once it's created you'll be able to choose it's positioning in your current NavBar

The only problem is the example she showed the link is different depending on which page is open. So it needs to be a dynamic link of some sort.

I'm afraid that can't be done
