Changing Nav Link Names?

Is it possible to change the previously set Navigation link names? Or Hide them?

your question are not clear enough for us to understand it. can you explain a bit more? i mean, you referring on nav link on portal or that nzv link on top of forum?

The Navigation Link on the top of the forums AND the portal.. the whole bar is called the Navigation, I was wondering would it be possible to rename or hide any of the links? I've also tried to make it so only the Administrators can see it, but my main goal is changing the Navi Link called 'Home' and make it called 'Forums'

yes, its is possible to change it Smile

go to adminpanel > general > homepage > nav link.
to change 'home' with 'forum' title, simple choose home option & replace that previous img link wiht your new link.

about hiding some of link for guest i think its disable for existing nav. but, if your adding new nav link (eg : arcade) then it is posibble to hide it Smile

I don't want to change the picture I want to change the Text or the name.

hmm, its require a litle picture editing trick to do that, just save your link picture and edit it using picture editor. (eq : photoshop cs3), use marquee tools to make it blank before putting new letter on it.

btw, if you're not ghrapic user, then there is no way just removing that letter without picture editting Smile

Uhh... I DON'T want to change the picture. I want to change the text 'Home' to the text 'Forum'

do you means that tooltips showing when your pointing mouse on navigation link? in that case its can not be changed, bcz it disabled by forumation..

I'm also want to hide nav links or change name/url, but it's not possible I think. But I do not understand why Confused

It's impossible to change it because it's impossible. Index is the Navigation link that every forum has got, and Forumotion just tihnk that noone won't want to change it Wink

I'm not sayig they did it well, no, I also don't unserstand that, but you will just have accept it as it is. Still, you can make the pictue and than on the picture write "Forum". Than, in General --> Homepage --> Header set Display only images in the link bar to Yes, and you will have the same effect as you would have it with the picture.
