New people signing up not coming through?
Hi there,
I have our forum set to manual authentication. I've had 3 people sign up and the forum doesn't show them in inactive users.
I get the email with a profile created link and when I click that it says the "user does not exist". This has never happened before.
Thanks Ash

Hi,
Thanks for your quick replies. I've just come back form Holiday!
It appears the forum doesn't log in the new registered users at all. They are signing up at www.orthodontic-solutions.com but the inactive users list is not logging new members. It's blank, our members are signing up from the register page. Not sure what to do.

Hello @Wing6704,
I have tested on your forum with the example given in your screenshot (member : gerrygerber) and everything is working just fine, so I'm not sure to quite understand what is your problem exactly ? Maybe it is just a problem with the link, maybe i's a broken link?

Re: New people signing up not coming through?
Hi,
I have just tested this with my own details.
I had the site set to manual authentication only. But the members are sent an email which when they click it automatically lets them through without manual authentication.
Has something changed within the settings externally I'm not aware of? I only want people on the site That I (admin) allow as active. This setting was set like this for many years and only in the last week has this changed.
Unless it's me?
Thanks again for the feedback.

Yes, it has been changed I think a couple weeks ago on some forums. This is unfortunately our fault, a script has malfunctioned and on some forums it changed this specific setting. You have to set it up like it was before if you don't want more registrations without notice.
