STORING IP ADDRESSES

Hi, is there a way to automatically save or store members IP addresses?
The only way I can see what someone's IP is, is if they are actually on the site at the time.
And of course, I can't seem to catch them online
Another site I ran had an option that logged each members "last time logged in, IP address, last post" etc...

There isn't a way to automatically log it as you described. You can see what IP each post was done from though. So if the member has ever had a post you can see their ip. Just go to the post and you should see a triangle with a ? in it. Click on that and you'll see the IP address that post came from. You will also see any members that have posted from that IP address as well as other IP addresses that member has posted from. I find that screen very useful.
