how to add affiliates .

Hello everyone , can i just say after having our forum with bright forums & finding them extremely rude & unhelpful we were in the process of moving to darkbb when they deleted our site without warning , just because i said they were rude & abrupt with there replies , Since being with darkbb i find its fab , Im really pleased with how easy most of the admin options are & overall the look ( im still sorting this though ) , There is one thing i cant fathom out though so here i am ... ive checked the freq asked q's & also tips & tricks but i cant seem to see what im looking for .

Im wanting to add affiliates banners to our portal page , Ive tried doing it & have one banner on there but .... its linking back to the same site its on if that makes sense ...

Can someone help me or show me where i can add other sites banners to show & link to there sites please .

Ive tried that code & the one thats currently in , This code doesnt show anything at all , & the one i use shows the code but doesnt redirect as its showing the wrong forum url .
The affiliate banner is on our portal called petrebelz to show you what i mean , when you highlight over the banner to see what url addy it shows , It shows the same one to the forum already on . Oh god this sounds confusing sorry .

than ur url isnt right
you have to put http://www. whatever it is .com/net/etc.. whatever it is at the end

i'll try again , but the url im using is the one from my site ( i have 2 sites ) .

right ok its sorted now , Thankyou very much , the http:// was missing from the 1st part of the url ....Thankyou sooooooo much .Man i feel a doofas now .
