board statistics - who is online [Solved]

i've been checking on the board statistics of my forum. in the "who is online" area, i sometimes find guests in specific areas where only members are allowed, based on the "forum location" column. does this mean that there are guests who are able to view the forum even if the permission is set to members only?

i tried going to the forum as a guest, but when i check on the board statistics, it's always blank in the column of "forum location".
