Code box tag not working

On my forum the

tags are not working...

Is the Code-Tag the only BB-Code Tag that doesn´t work?

I just started filling the forum, so I don't know 100%, but it seems to be the only thing not working so far.

In your profile theres a preference "Allways allow BB-Code", ist this option set to "Yes" ?

Yes, the "Always Allow HTML" was @ NO, I just changed it.

But still not working...

Well, HTML has nothing to do with the BB-Codes...... very strange.....

Is there anything in this post that could affect the BB-Codes?
perhaps a script or any other BB-Codes?

Did you try to use the "Code"-Tags in a new, empty posting?

I just created a new post, and the code tags work in it...

Deleted the old post, tried to repost it, and the code tags don't work with it.

Godda be something in my text that is causing this bug, but I don't know what it could be.

Also, is there a way to force the codebox to expand (no scroller), and one more question while we are at it...

Hmm,

the Problem ist this part of the text:

Code:

"o" or an "s"

When you remove this, the whole thing should work

Edit: The number of characters in a post is limited to 16000 and this can not be modified.

I don't know the answer to the first problem you have, but I can tell you - there is no way possible to increase the max # of characters per post.

What about the force expand/no scroller?

Perhaps this is possible by modifying the CSS-style-sheet but its not possible to change this setting in the ACP.
