cannot modify at admin.panel

Dear all,

I already deleted my old forum hoping that I can modified template at stlye - admin.panel. After I make a new one, then i go to admin.panel - style - template, I'm still having this message :

Templates administration"Templates management" option has expired.

You are not allowed to modify templates.
To enable this option again, go to the Points management panel.

Your templates are still used. If you wish to restore default templates, click on the link below.
Be careful: your templates will be erased !

Only templates of the phpbb2 version will be affected.

Restore default templates.


Can anyone can help me?..
I really want my new forum like everybody else but seems like I cannot...

You can only modify the templates option if you buy points. You need 500 points for this.You can buy points by going to admin panel=>Misc=>Points Management=>Configuration and click the "Buy points" button.When you have enough points you can click the "Add" button next to this option "Template editing is disabled." in order to activate template editing.

I am having the same problem. I bought 500 points but that option is not showing up.

Can we (newbie) modified the templates without buying points?..
example by counting on member posting at our forum...

if we cannot affort to buy those points, can we still modified it?

The only way to modify the templates is by buying points.
