can't use special characters as a display name

hi frnds well this is very starnge but i can't use special characters as my name but i can use them as rank why why why phbb is not supporting ths feature evewry other board suppo\rts this feature.

fr example if i put ––•(-•simmer ™•-)•–– as my name then some numbers r showing this name is not showng why???is dre is any way to use special characters as a use name????plz tell me
