Inserting pictures

I am having problems with photos showing on the forum. I use insert picture with imageshack and for some members they show fine and for others all they can see is the link address,thats not even clickable.I looked on my admin username and it shows fine,I used an ordinary username and again shows fine.So I used a third normal username and it doesnt show,also doesnt show on my husbands username.So shows for some and not others.

Also There seems to be a problem with new posts showing,even though someone has posted a new thread,sometimes it doesnt turn colour to show it.And me and my members misses new posts.

Can I have some help please.

Verify if the BBCode is enabled in the profiles of the people who have these problems. You can verify by goint in the users management, and each member can verify by going in "Profile" in the link bar, and then in "Preference" (the small links at the top-right above the frame).

Verify it also in post by editing them, and be sure to use the normal mode, and not the WYSIWYG mode when you copy-paste imageshack links.

You can set the wysiwyg off by clicking on the icon indicated in this screenshot :

I already tried wysiwyg on my husbands account this morning,as he also couldnt see the pictures and it made no difference.But I will have a look and make sure the bbcode is enabled..But wouldnt that mean that everyone couldnt either see or not instead of just some and not others?

arrggg This is so frustrating..lol Now one of my Mods said she couldnt see them either.

I looked in their profile and I see nothing that says anything about BBcode.I went into user management etc and found nothing in the top right corner? I found no "preference". Sorry if I sound dumb.

If you go into your profile, the window preferences, you should have this:

Did you check if the BBC code is activated in the general administration of your forum...
As for the technichians (or technicats as well call them ), the aren't availiable on the week ends -_-

Try to disable HTML in your profile.
And when I logged in your board, i saw the line "Always allow BBcode" in the profile.

Ok I have set HTML to off in Admin panel.But I cannot see anything that says "Always allow BBcode" in mine or anyone else's Profiles. Very strange.

Edit: Uh oh now that HTML is set on off,I cant see the pictures now either.
