Re: forum width [solved]
Because the particular theme that you have selected, that IS the 100% position, as that is how it was made. To have that look. That is as wide as it gets.
The theme original author had also made a wide version of that same theme, but Jalokim who transformed the theme to work with Forumotion's system, chose this particular one.
In regards to most other themes, 100% will not be from edge to edge. It will always allow some space, to show the background. Which will be at it's 100% mark.

Re: forum width [solved]
It's actually in kind of a strange place. hehehe Admin Panel >> Styles >> Colors
Re: forum width [solved]
Yes, as Skittles said already, this is because of the forum theme you have choosen - it uses custom CSS code that overwrites your admin panel settings. Therefore, you'd have to do the following to fix this:
Go to "Styles / Colors / CSS Stylesheet" and look at the text within the textbox. Find here the #wrap entry (Ctrl+F for searching), it should look similar to the part of code below:
#wrap {
....
width:74%;
}
If you found this, replace only the red marked part with 100, so it reads "100%". Click submit and you should be done.
