Hi again.
Are you web forwarding from 123.reg? If so, the hit counter won't work; the counter will basically see all the hits coming from the same IP address, regardless of them being from individual users. I've tried it various ways, consulted 123 tech support and the support team of my webspace (owned by the same company as 123.reg) and all claim hit counters won't work with web-forwarding.

i think that you are using co.uk, yes you are. I think any simple hit counter will still work even if you use it. But I don't have one.

Drag~

Hey, i've got the same question
I've tried to insert google analytics tracking code in the meta tags, but it can't be detected by google analytics.
It should be inserted just before </body>.
Is there any way to do this?

hi,
what you can do is activate forum widgets and put a widget with something in it (like image or news or counter or link to your google analitycs summary page (you can create an html page that will do it) or what ever) and then at the and paste the google analytics code, this way your analytics code will appear on any page (beside portal, so add this widget to portal pages as well)

thats it!

I tried this, but it is showing up on my portal page and you can see the script.

am I doing something wrong?

ETA:

My board is set to private, but I know I have been getting heavy traffic from some unwanted visitors, hence the reason I am trying to get this information to see where they are coming from.

I've tried using Google Analytics, Stat Counter and Site Meter.

All the same. And they all tell me I'm the only one visiting.
