Hi guys

Is it possible to add pictures and backgrounds to the text screens (where you type a message, like this one), and how?

I'm wanting to add a faint pic, as opposed to the usual 'white' background behind a post's type.

This requires a CSS code to be added. Paste the following code into "Styles / Colors / CSS" and hit submit:

.postbody{background-image:url("IMAGE URL")}

If that was not what you meant, please also post what forum version (phpBB2 or phpBB3 - check what is marked in "Styles / Change Version") you are using.

I input that code into the CSS section, (I'm currently set at phpBB3) but can't see what difference it made?

Where shall I try and add my image, and how?

Hm... if you are on phpBB3, you can use this code below. It would look better as well:

.post .inner{background-image:url("http://IMAGE URL")}

Of course, you'd have to replace the IMAGE URL (marked red here) with the adress to your background-picture.

I used Photobucket for my image and input the 'Email and IM' code- and it worked!
