Could not obtain smilies data [General error]

Hi

Sorry I am new here. Just set up my new forum.

All was working fine. But now as I try to replay to the threads in forum I get this error message:


Could not obtain smilies data



Any Idea what I can do?

My forum is getting the same problem as well?

Is there a way to by-pass this situation..anyone knows? I did try to acces the smilies section in the Admin pannel but it gives me the same herror.

same i think its a server error what they have to fix themselfs, i think we will just have to wait.

or it might be a big problem, which could take like hours, or may not even be able to repair.. ?

It seems to be a server wide problem, I have the same issues.

Not just chatbox, It wont even allow you to post.

When you go into Admin panel >> smilies, it comes up with an error. So one is not allowed to disable the 'allow smiley' option which might of been a work around... but... alas no.

Lets hope they get it done soon. Do they work Sundays?

The exact thing happened to me today ><, i didnt know but luckily my relative visits my forum (he told me). I posted on my website that there was something wrong.

i just hope someone can help soon

Strange how we all seem to be relatively recent 'new members' on here.

For months I have been using the FAQ's and never had the need to register as most of the time have worked it out myself or found an earlier post with the same issues.

However I think recently there have been alot of problems which havent been encountered before so Forum Administrators are having to register here to post their problems.

I signed up for another phpbb3 host a few weeks ago.. as this host is always having issues. I started up another site. . I suggest you all do the same.

Cant work with my Forum!!!
Have the smilies-Error too!

but, in other forum (host in forumotion too) there`s no problem same with our problem.

Please repair it...

I am having the same problem Is it because I deleted the smiles I added off of my computer or did I add too many? I am so confused and everyone is asking me whats wrong

Same problem for me too, 'Could not obtain Smilies data' - I can click to view the forum, it still lists topics and and such but cant go any further.
