I am new to this and an admin of a new forum. I want to have everyone that creates an account to first be approved by me before they can see what is posted. Is there a way to do this? Should I give you more info on what I am trying to do?

ok, i know what you are trying to do. Go to admin panel ==> users and groups ==> user settings ==> then set the set notify emaill on new user registrations to admin. You will have to approve of each new user.
