Better security

I have alot of bots coming and not posting... so i can't view their ips. I think it would be great to have their ip shown in the posts, and in the profile information.

what do you think about that?

When a member post, you can see the IP Smile

And the problem of bots is now solved

And besides, the I.P is determined by the computer you're on. I'll have a different I.P thanat home when I'm at Uni Razz

thats the thing. also not just bots... but i have alot of enemies of mine from other forums. but alot of them never post. but they pm. so i can't view their ip.

Since someone tried to register on Chaos's board using my email address and username to usurp my identity, I agree about this suggestion. If there's a possibility to view the IP the user had when he/she registered, it would be easier when we notice that someone tried to usurp our identity and that we try to find who did it.

I created a usergroup called 'Lurker' If you come on my forum and never post, but I notice you logging in... then they get put in that usergroup which is limited forum access. And once they begin to post, I remove them.
