I'm planning on buying templates soon.

I didn't start advertising my site 'till I got .com 2 or so weeks ago, we already have 150 members.

If I buy creds to buy templates, what am I able to do?

I need a full-fledged description please and thank you! Very Happy

By editing the templates you can change the style of your forum and add scripts and codes. You get access to parts of the forum which are normally only accessable for the technicians. But you must have knowleges about HTML and in some parts also CSS and only BB2-forums are affected.
I´m momently working on a forum that is completely designed with CSS and the Templates and I made lots of changes which could not be done without editing the templates. Here you can have a look (note: its still under construction)

Oh I see, thanks. Smile

So, I could buy footers for my forum and have things scrolling at the bottom, right?

My friends site; http://lmkletmekill.com has things scrolling at the bottom and he said he bought templates.

Yes, that is made by editing the template "overall footer". Your friend added a simple marquee-code to that template:

<marquee width="700" valign="center" direction="left" scrolldelay="0" scrollamount="3" onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()">

<!-- Here he entered the codes of the Buttons -->

</a>
</marquee>

Alex, I don't have templates for several reasons, first of all I can't spend so much money monthly and bought new shelves already, second my coding knowledge isn't that big and third I don't need anything at the moment I can only do with the templates.
Before you buy them think if you really need them. I'm pretty happy with all the stuff I get for free and will buy stuff if I have a good idea and know it's only possible with templates.
