please help spammer

their is a spamer on our forums he has spammed about 300 messasegs i banned him but he keeps comign back and is their a way to delete the 300 posts he spammed his ip is 85.166.231.178 and my forum address is Gangsta-pwnage.darkbb.com

Try deleting him. I should mark all of his posts as made by guest. Then you can start deleting posts. Is he has as many as you've said, try doing just a little at a time. Hope this helps!

If I were you I would immediately change you permissions for your forums for guest to NOT be allowed to post. Because he is posting as a guest. You cannot ban a guest.

Good point. I didn't get what you meant. Do it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Because in a forumotion site I was a member of, the admin got so tired of banned members doing that, he QUIT! Then they had problems without the admin, and the site eventually was deleted. You want to keep that from happening.

Unfortunately, you have to delete them all separately. Not each post, but each thread.

Actually from looking at this particular hit that you got, it was from a spambot.

It appears it was all posted at about the same time. Thats how spambots are, they are in and out.
