Moderator rank not showing in posts

Hello folks,

I've assigned my moderator, and that person has all permissions to do what I allow. However, in the posts themselves, the title or rank of moderator is not under their name. I tried going into the users and changing her rank that way, but then a message box pops up asking me which person I wish to change the password of, Admin or Brad. Those are the only options and why is it asking me to change passwords when I just want to change their rank?

Sometimes your browser will fill in the password fields at the top of the user admin pages, Firefox does that to me all the time. Just remove the password that the browser enters, then change their special rank to Moderator or whatever. Hit save, and it should work!

I don't think I explained myself clearly in the first post. When I'm in the admin control panel, under users. I go to the moderator who I'm trying to assign the rank to. It's near the bottom of their information. When I click on, the drop down menu for "rank title", I select "moderator", then click "save"....but when I do this, I get a pop up window asking me which user I am changing the password for. The two options that show in that pop up window are "Brad and Admin" both me. So, if what you are saying is correct, then I would select my name, "Brad", and then what?

Brad, a piece of screenshot maybe can clear up you problem there, do you have any?

yay, your problem kinda wierd there. i never see that kind of problem before , bcz just for confirmation, do you already added this new moderator to moderator group before try changing rank title?

im kinda think that your problem my cause by some cache/cookies also, so try cleared it & re-login back

I think this moderators is in the moderator group, She shows up in the usergroups under moderator. I will try to see if I can change it using IE rather than Firefox.

Yes, something was weird. I re-logged in using IE and the changes took no problem with how I was doing it. Thanks! I sometimes don't think of simple solutions like that. Strange though but I'm happy it worked.
