I cant spilt my forum into different parts! Empty I cant spilt my forum into different parts!

I dont know how to explain this but here it is.
How can I spliy my forum into different sections like http://millsberrychatter.usersboard.com/ has!
I mean they have a section called "main" and then another section called "millsberry chatter" and then another section called "other" on their homepage and how do I do that for my forum which is: www.millsberryforum.forumakers.com ?


PLEASE PLEASE HELP! IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT FOR OVER 2 MONTHS!

Hello,

You need to create categories with the forum tab in your admin control panel. Create a category that you want, then you have to create forums and attach them to your specific category. Have you done this? You can't put a forum inside of a forum. If you need more explanation, I will try to help.

those are just categories . its very simple just create one category , then create forums in that category. then create another category and forums .
then go to admin panel / general / hierarchy and choose SPLIT CATEGORIES ON INDEX / MID thats it Smile

create category and move there the forums you wanna split.
admin panel / forum / categories and forum ... and move them around

But it splits each of the links on my homepage into catengories and I dont want that, also how do I name the categories like http://millsberrychatter.usersboard.com/ has?
Please help me! Im only 11 years old!

when you create category you have to put at least one forum in there so it will show otherwise it will not show

i think you forget to set up forum heirarcy there.. try this

admin panel > general > homepage > Heirarchy > split categories on index > medium
