Lock 2 forums out of 3! [solved]

Hello, could you help me please with this?

In my forum i`ll have 3 forums, let`s call them a, b &c....
For example i would have 20 users in A-Forum, 20 in B-Forum "the rest" of users in a free forum called C......
A should be locked (so users from B and C cannot view
B should be locked (so users from C cannot view
C should be "open" --->unlocked, so A, B and C can all view

How can i do this, please explain in an easy way! Thx a lot

hello,
i dont quite understand that but maybe your can set permission for that,

for forum A : set forum permission 'read/write' forum user A, forbid it for user B,C
for forum B : set forum permission 'read/write' for user B, 'Veiw only' for user A and forbid it for user C
C : use forum default permission

dont forget to group each user to different group either
to set permission :

admin panel > categories & forum > click on your forum > click on permission

to disturb you one more time!
My forum is seperated in
1. Closed Section
2. Challenger Section
3. Free Section
I do understand everything you explained to me already, but my question is how to do if i want let the newbies (3.Free Section) to see/view the
1.Closed
2.Challenger
but unable them to read (writing i can seperate easy!)

Is there a way cause it is very important!

Go to "Forum / Permissions" and choose the "Closed/Challenger" forum. Scroll down and click on "Advanced mode" if it isn't already activated. Now you should see options "View the forum" and "Read the topics" that you can check or uncheck appropriately.
