I think this would be cool and great in my case to have. It would work like a poll, but instead of just words like normally, you can put an image html code or upload, than itll add it to the poll.. so where you can vote for say the best looking picture and itll show the pictures as the poll options to select from. also having it as a small thumbnail instead of a large pic would make it more nicer, to where you scroll over the thumbnail than it expands the picture to a larger view. so answer the poll!

Well, I can't see the use in it. You can post your pictures in the thread as thumbnails and then simply add the names in the poll. I guess pictures would stretch it too much and ppl won't read the thread afterwards. I fear also that normal prune-minded members would be too stupid to use thumbnails and stretch the poll even more. Or use that function to add stupid pictures in their poll options.
No, in my experience with board users, and normally you have more normal mebers than mods and admins, I don't think it's a good idea.

i only have polls set to be used by members in only a couple sections, i doubt the pics would be used much. the reasoning is it looks sloppy and take to much time to attach 10 pics, than make a poll for each pic. its doing the work twice when it can be done once.

I understand this and on some forums it might work. It is just, if you can't toggle if pictures are allowed than your members will maybe do stupid stuff. Oh, as far as I know, someone will do stupid stuff. And I have some members who would do stupid things and I can't ban them for it.

I have to agree that this would be very useful!! We do challenges and it would be nice to post the pictures that my members create in order to vote for them. I don't allow members to post polls, only mods and admin. And, it is a feature available on most phpbb3 boards. I was quite disappointed and frustrated to find I could not do this.

You can't toggle where it can be done but, you can toggle who can do it. We also use photobucket or tinypic or something like that so, it doesn't take any time at all. It will take us more time to post the pics in the message, add the names to then and then post the names in the poll option. We could have just done it once and used the pictures in the poll.
