make your own theme??

can you make your own theme instead of using one from hitskin.com ??

Of course you can. You just need to replace the images that you want from admin panel=>Styles=>Pictures and colors=>List of pictures section.

but is there any software which can be used to make themes and skins for the forums

And this tutorial may also be helpful to you, altho it is not exactly what you are asking, but I am sure the points and info would be helpful to you in this effort as well.

i put the picture which i wanted but it didn't come :S ..... could you help??

You can always request a theme in the graphics request forum, but there are many already requested and it takes time to make those themes. So it might take awhile for them to create it, IF they agree to it.

Did you host your picture somewhere? Or are you loading it from your computer? Can you be more specific as to where you are trying to put it, what you did to try and add it, and what happens?
