Ads, portal and arcade question

I am new here...i don't know whether this is the correct section to post...I have a few questions, hope i will get an answer.

Are we allowed to place ads (adsense, adbrite) when we don't have a custom domain.

How can i place ads inside the forums too.

I read in a forum about arcade games...can you explain a bit on that...where do i get the code and where should i place it.

I installed portal...in the news section i am only able to rotate only one section. If i choose a section which has images on it...the images too gets displayed in the portal..thereby making the portal long.

It is possible to get an arcade, just search on google.
