is there a way to transfer the founder account and not include all the posts of the original founder

Short anwer: no. The messages are all linked to the profile most likely via some hidden ID for tracking within the message database. This allows for the ability to change a name but still keep all the messages.

Only way to transfer without the messages is to go through and delete all the posts made by the previous founder and then go through with the changeover.

If you want to keep the previous messages, you'll have to do a fair bit of copy/paste work from old messages to new ones.
