Happy New Year everyone! For quite a few people here I imagine its already 2007, but some other places might still be in 2006.

I don't think i've ever actually done my resolution, i make an aim and never accomplish it
My Goal 2007:
To get as fit as possible and gain 10kg (im a tad underweight)

Re: Happy New Year 2007
Yeah, I could also do with some extra weight
My resolutions are rather simple:
- Prove myself to certain people
- Be even more myself
- Improve in certain areas

No
I like drinking but I'd better put a big block on the amounts I'm taking or I might get into trouble

Re: Happy New Year 2007
Some tips:
Use smaller bowls. The smaller the bowl, the smaller the meal, therefore the less calories to go to your thighs . Some dietitians once figured out that your mind will make you feel full if your plate or bowl appears to be full...
Exercise, Exercise, Exercise! A daily walk and any other physical activity helps .
Watch less TV.

Re: Happy New Year 2007
Avoid softdrinks, and if you feel like one, use the types with less sugar, like Coke Zero...
One thing that makes people go off softdrinks is reading what is really in it and what it can be used for...

Re: Happy New Year 2007
Some local dieticians have been discussing that cola (dark sodas, not clear) - whether it is diet or not - may contain an ingredient that essentially puts a stop to weight loss. According to them, you may not gain weight by drinking diet-cola. But it will be very hard to lose weight.
This is not a published or publicized study. With the mentioning of sodas, I was reminded of their discussions. I only wish that I was able to back this up with some official findings.
