I have the same problem and have had it since I started my forum, I have already don all the things i says to do and the altered time shows on the setting page but even after clicking to have this new setting, the time on the forum doesn't change am in the UK and my friend here has the same problem, we are now on British summer time which is gmt+1,but whatever we do it stays on gmt.
Our users are used to it being wrong, so is no big deal, but would look better or guests to see the correct time.

I have done that and it still stays the same. The timezone is wrong and would like to fix it. I have done everything I am supposed to do. I am in the United States (Virginia) by the way. I would like to know if there is something else I can do to fix the problem.

Hi Othfan

Each member has to set the timezone in their profile. You may have members from all over the world so the time displayed wouldn't be correct for everyone, unless they have made the necessary change in their profile.

Once you have the correct time set in your profile, the time will be correct for you on the forum, for other members to see the correct time on the forum they must also change the timzone in their profile.
