Posting News On Portals

How do you post news on your portals

Hello and welcome on Editboard

You have to follow these steps to have news on your portal.

1- In your Admin Panel > Portal > Configuration.
a) Install the portal if it's still not installed
b) If you already installed it, go to Module News Option

2- On Module News Option, you choose which forum you want your topic to be displayed as news.

NOTE : Sticky, announcement and locked topics will not be displayed. Only normal topic are displayed.

You post the news on the forum you chose for the news

im really really sorry for kepping on asking but is there a link somewhere to do it? :|

i done it..but i dont know how to put a few news ,i just put it one!

You go in the forum you chose to didplay the news, then you post a topic where the news is written. You post as if you post a normal topic. Then, it will be diaplayed on the portal.

I hope I'm clear enough, because English is not my mother tongue.

I made mistake because I choose only one subforum and then I saw news from that subforum...I didnt want that I want a different news from different subforums.I will try what you told me Katt,I hope I will solve a problem!
