I mean , buy domain name somewhere and then redirect domain name to your forum's portal. So everybody will be redirected to your portal. also change the buttons . instead of home button put FORUM, and instead of portal put home Smile

The portal becomes your homepage by default, then when you login the site goes to your normal homepage (index page). I assume tots2terrors wants the portal to remain once your logged in, but I'm sure that can't be done.

But, if you click the 'Log me on automatically at each visit', then bookmark your forum into favorites from the portal, your bookmark will always load the portal (make sure url end /portal.htm in bookmark)

Sir-Duke I think the question is how to have it direct you to the portal after you log in, not when you go to the site. Buying a domain, and changing the links around won't fix this problem. It still takes you to the index after you log in. There is a suggestion in the suggestions section to do what you'd like to do, but right now you can't change it.

once you log in it will take you to your forum page 4 sure , and there is no way to change it because there are people who don't have portal installed Smile

well with links it's different , at least now if you click Home on my forum it will take you to portal
