Banner size for resolution setting Empty Banner size for resolution setting

Post by Conknet June 12th 2008, 9:15 pm

I have been trying to make the banner stay the the same width as the forum. Like the Forum of the Forums banner seems to stays regardless of what resolution I set my computer on.

Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Your banner/logo will always stay the same size. because it is a set value by pixels. A forum, though, is a fluid layout that is based on a percentage of screen width. You can't change the size of the banner/logo dynamically.

the forumotion banner is only 800 pixels wide... but it has a matching background in the css that makes it look like as if it where stretched.

what you need to do is upload a header background and make your banner either with a transparent background or a matching background. that is the only way to get the same effect as on this board.
