how to transfer only one post from topic to another topic?

please can you tell me if its possible

Go under the thread which holds the specific post that you want to move,
click 'moderate this forum', then it will show you all the threads in that specific category,
click the thread which holds the post you want to move,
select (check off) the post(s) you want to move,
specify a destination for the post with the dropdown menu on the top,
on either the top or bottom of the page, you'll see a 'split selected posts' button...click that.
Your post should go to the desired destination.
