Backup folder... Cant delete items.

Hi all...

Ive tried a million times, and it just doesnt work.

IM in the gallery. There are old photos I want to get rid of. So I delete them. It says they have been moved to the backup folder and to go there to delete them permanently. I go there .. and the ONLY option I see is RESTORE image.

I dont want to restore them. I want to delete them.

Help ?

I don't think you can and I believe that only gallery Mods can see it.

To delete pics from your gallery, go to www.servimg.com Use the email addy and password that you use on the forum.

No, theres nothing in servimg Whern I am in the gallery .. on my forum, and I delete a photo... it says it goes to the BACKUP FOLDER. if I then go TO the backup folder ... there is NO WAY to do anything but RESTORE the photos. i dont want to RESTORE tem. I want to DELETE them. Theyre taking up storage space.

Help Sad

To my knowledge deleted images in the backup folder don't add to your storage space. Wink

I also have this problem. Someone uploaded a rude picture onto my gallery (I'm admin) and i deleted it. It was moved to the backup folder but how do i delete it from there?

why not create a new 'forum' section, call it 'recycle bin' and move them to this - make sure none of your members can see this section

i have one and it saves posts being deleted and your numbers going now
