Set HTML Page as homepage

I'm happy to be able to do this, but it means that I cannot access my forum mainpage.

My forum mainpage (example): www.example.forumotion.com/index.htm

If I set a homepage, that URL will display a homepage and not the board index (www.example.forumotion.com)

How would I change this?

Ok so i dont get it whats the point in been able to make a home page but not have a forum?
I mean the whole point of the sites is for a forum

you have to buy domain name and set it as a home page. redirect that domain to your html page , but make sure you buy domain somewhere else otherwise it will not work . if you buy it here then I don't think it will let you set redirection

You was obviously wrong seen as someone else has just posted about this and they have done it without a domain name

U can have a html page as a home page as long as it has a link to forumotion. I have. also you can add a code that makes it automaticly redirect to your forums page

No as that becomes your homepage link then your forum has index on the end of the link

Ok people just to clarify

When you set an html page as your homepage

Your homepage will be - www.your_usual_address.forumotion.com (Your usual one)

Your forum Address will be: - www.your_usual_address.forumotion.com/forum.htm (Your usual one with /forum.htm at the end of it)

If you want an example check my homepage url out, then check my forum url out
