Forums Not Adding to Post Count? Empty Forums Not Adding to Post Count?

Post by Moron8275 January 16th 2007, 10:58 pm

I was wondering if there was a way to have it so that if you post in a certain forum, it won't add to your postcount.

Is there a way to do this?
If so, how?

I do know of some other types of forums that could do that.
And I did see a really old topic about that a while ago, but I wasn't sure if it happened yet.

I don't generally like this type of thing, because it gives a false representation of a users post and basically if you turn off the post count in one area, theres basically no point in having it at all. In Skyscrapercity, they turned off the post count in the "Skybar" section and because I have a lot of posts there, it says Ive made 230 posts but my real number is over 300.

Basically what I am saying is it defies the point of post counts by turning it off partly.
