Posting HTML code

I'm having problems getting codes such as those used with quiz outputs to come out right ... is there any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong?

For example, I tried to use this code in a post and it did not work:

Please advise ....

You have to enable HTML to be able to post this code. Go to "USers & Groups / User Options" and set the option "Allow HTML" to YES. Check now your profile and go to the "Preferences" tab there - the option "Always allow HTML" should be enabled there as well.
